Assignment 6

I found and played an educational game called Wild Word West. I was given a word and had to ride around on the horse until I found a word with the same meaning. I could not stop playing it, it was a lot of fun. I wish this game was around when I was younger. I found it real addicting, I can only imagine how much children would enjoy the game. Although it is never good for anyone to spend countless hours in front of a t.v. or computer screen.

Assignment 5 wiki thoughts

Depending on the age of my class my students could use a wiki to collaboratively work on an assignment while not actually being in physically together. Students can also use a wiki to share their results of a particular assignment with the rest of the class as well as the teacher being able to review the work of the student. Also, throughout the course of a school year students can routinely compile data for later use, as well being a place to refer back to during future assignments . I also believe that a wiki could allow for improved performance in our youth since each generation is growing more dependant on technology. Wiki would allow for students to enjoy their work more than previous teaching/learning tools would.
